How to resolve Microsoft Word Normal.Dotm Error

 Issue:

When I close a Microsoft Word document in SAFE, I receive an error message referring to the Normal.Dotm template. How can I resolve this issue?

Solution:

1. Close all instances of Microsoft Office.

2. Open Windows File Explorer.

3. Navigate to %appdata%\Microsoft\Templates.

4. Delete all versions of the "Normal" template including the Normal_OLD.Dotm.
