Adding Contacts to SHARE Address Book

 Note: SHARE is an optional, subscription based module offered by Cabinet. Enabling this module requires a SHARE license and configuration by an administrator.

 

New contacts to the SHARE Address Book can be added manually or by using the import option.

 

Use the following steps to manually add a new contact to the SHARE Address Book.

1. Click the SHARE button from the menu at the top of the SAFE window.

2. Click "Address Book".

3. Input the "New Contact Information". "Name" and "Email Address" are the only two required fields. To customize the four optional user fields see the Knowledgebase article Adding Custom User Fields to SHARE.

4. With the contact information filled, click "Add New Contact".

5. Click "Save Changes" to save the addition and to exit the Address Book.

 

Use the following steps to import contacts into the SHARE Address Book.

1. Click the SHARE button from the menu at the top of the SAFE window.

2. Click "Address Book".

3. Click "Show Import" at the bottom left of the window to reveal the available import options.

 

4. Select the email account type from the list, and click "Load Plugin". SHARE supports Gmail, Outlook, or a delimited file.

5. Select the delimited file from the "Delimited Import Utility" window and click "OK".

6. From the "Address Book Import" window, match up the desired columns to import using the drop-down fields.

7. Click "Import" to perform the import. 

8. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the "Address Book" to complete the process.
